Summer Skincare Tips: Best Summer Skincare Products and Facials

We’ve had a bit of an early onset of summer this year haven’t we? I feel like it’s taken a few of us by surprise and we might not be as prepared with our summer skincare as we would usually be.
Between the sweat, SPF, fake tan, and that lovely British humidity, your skin can quickly go from glowing to overwhelmed (not to mention fried if we’re not careful enough with our sunscreen)! Here are my go-to summer skincare tips, plus two in-clinic treatments I swear by this time of year to keep your skin fresh, balanced, and holiday-ready.

How to Look After Your Skin in Summer
The biggest challenge with summer skincare? Keeping the balance between hydrated and not too oily, protected but not clogged. Here’s what I recommend:

1. Switch to lighter textures
In summer, your skin doesn’t need heavy creams or thick serums. Swap out rich moisturisers for lighter, gel-based formulas that hydrate without suffocating your pores. 2. Don’t skip SPF
Yes, even in the UK. SPF should be your ride-or-die every single day. Look for broad-spectrum protection (SPF 30 or higher) and reapply if you’re out and about.

3. Double cleanse in the evenings
