Treatments for Sleep-Deprived Mums and Tired Skin

Hi lovely! If you’re reading this with one eye open while clutching your fourth coffee of the day… I see you. Whether you’ve been up all night with a teething baby, chasing toddlers around all day, or just juggling life (and forgetting when you last had a full night’s sleep), your skin can start to show it.

That dullness, the fine lines creeping in, the “Are you okay?” comments - yep, we’ve all been there. But just because you feel tired doesn’t mean you have to look it. I’ve got some brilliant little tricks up my sleeve to help you fake that well-rested glow, no sleep required.

What Tired Skin Actually Looks Like

Tired skin has a bit of a tell-tale look, and if you're a busy mum, you’ll probably recognise a few of these:

  • Dullness or that ‘flat’ look – no glow, no bounce

  • Dark under-eyes – the classic giveaway of sleepless nights

  • Fine lines – especially around the eyes and mouth

  • Dehydrated patches or flaky texture – tired skin often = dry skin

  • Puffiness – especially around the eyes and cheeks

It can feel like your skin’s lost its spark — but the good news is, we've got some treatments for tired skin (and results are usually quicker than you think).

Skin Boosters – Hydration from the Inside Out

When your skin is tired, the first thing it needs? Hydration. Not just from a moisturiser, but deep down, where it really counts. Treatments like Polynucleotides or Profhilo work beneath the surface to deeply hydrate, smooth out fine lines, and give you that plump, juicy glow we all crave. Think of them like giving your skin a giant glass of water that we don’t need to remember to drink 4 times a day (although you should still try and do this one).

Under-Eye Treatments – No More Dark Circles!

If the eyes are the window to the soul, we don’t want them screaming “I need a nap!” 🙃 Dark circles, hollowness, or puffiness are totally normal when sleep’s in short supply, but treatments like Tear Trough Filler or Polynucleotides under the eyes can gently revive that area. It’s subtle, safe, and makes you look like you’ve had the best night’s sleep of your life (even if it was actually three hours and a Peppa Pig marathon).

Microneedling – The Collagen Kick-Start

For skin that’s lost its glow or starting to look a bit meh, microneedling is a brilliant option. It uses tiny needles to wake up your skin and encourage collagen production – which basically means firmer, smoother, more radiant skin over time. We pair it with hardworking serums to boost the benefits even further. It’s like giving your skin a gentle nudge to sort itself out.

LED Light Therapy – Lazy Girl Glow-Up

This one’s for the mums who want results without the faff. Just lie down, close your eyes (yes, really), and let the light work its magic. It helps with dullness, inflammation, healing and boosting circulation – ideal for skin that’s feeling a bit knackered.

Bespoke Skincare & Treatment Plans – Because No Skin Is the Same

Here’s the truth, what works for one person might not work for another. That’s why I never do cookie-cutter treatments. Instead, we sit down together, chat about your skin goals, lifestyle, and what’s actually realistic for you – and then I build a treatment and skincare plan that fits around you. Whether you’ve got five minutes in the morning or want a full clinic pamper sesh, we’ll find the right combo to bring your skin back to life without adding any more stress to your plate.
